Good news for the Warriors.

Croatian Ivan Jerkovic (above, left), the replacement for departed midfielder Niklas Sandberg, passed his Beep test on Monday (31 May) which means he will be eligible to play for the Warriors once the transfer window opens next Monday (7 June).

The 31-year-old posted a score of 13-3 and is likely to make his debut on 8 June (Tuesday) when the Warriors host Sengkang Punggol at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

Also passing his Beep test on Monday was Erwan Gunawan (above, right). The 23-year-old, who scored two goals in the Warriors' AFC Champions League campaign, had a score of 13-2, which means he will now be eligible for an S-League contract.

Earlier, he could only be registered as a Prime League player as he had yet to meet the S-League's Beep test mark.

Meanwhile, Sandberg conveyed his best wishes to the club before he made his last appearance in the RHB Singapore Cup game against Bangkok Glass last week.

He said: "I didn't expect (leaving prematurely) when I came here. I really wanted to do well, but my wife had troubles settling in. She got pregnant three weeks after we got here and after that we just had a hard time.

"I wish the club luck, and I hope they can turn this around. We haven't been performing as well as we should in the S-League but I still feel we've done some decent performances in the AFC Champions League. But I hope they can (improve), and I wish them all the best."
